UK’s Smallest Town in Line for the Biggest Lottery Win this Christmas!

UK's Smallest Town In Line for Biggest Lotto Win

The smallest town in Britain bets on world’s biggest lottery

Small Town, Big Dreams

Fordwich may be the smallest town in Britain but it has some BIG plans this holiday season.

With a little help from Lotteries.com,  a group of Fordwich residents have decided to try their luck by betting on the world’s biggest lottery draws – the El Gordo and El Niño, which boast a combined prize pool of €2.3 BILLION!

Playing in special ‘El Fordwich’ betting syndicates created just for them, 69 residents of this small town might just walk away with a life-changing prize this holiday season.

The El Gordo Spirit

The legendary Gordo draws are festive affairs in Spain. El Gordo marks the beginning of Christmas festivities, while El Niño rings in the New Year. It’s a time of hope and excitement as families and friends partake in this cherished tradition that’s been around for decades.

It goes beyond just winning a prize – although that’s always fun. It’s more about sharing in something as part of a community, of that feeling of togetherness. That’s the true spirit of El Gordo!

In fact, many small towns in Spain pool their money together to buy El Gordo and El Niño tickets in a syndicate – and celebrate together as a community if they win, even if it’s a tiny amount.

And this is exactly what the tiny town of Fordwich is planning to do!

El Fordwich

Fordwich’s mayor and residents are joining Lotteries.com’s exclusive El Gordo and El Niño syndicate which grants them access to Spain’s legendary draws right here in the UK.

By betting on the outcome of El Gordo and El Niño with Lotteries.com, Fordwich residents get to enjoy a lot more advantages – while receiving the same prizes as the official draw if they win.

One such advantage is a guaranteed win! Thanks to the lottery experts at Lotteries.com, the special 100-decima El Gordo and El Niño syndicates are set up with a strategy that ensures that the group will win a minimum of 4 subsidiary prizes.

In anticipation of the Spanish games, Fordwich has fully embraced the Spanish culture for the days leading up to the draws.

They’ve renamed their town ‘El Fordwich’ after the draws, with Spanish-sounding street names and signs to boot!

That’s not all that’s afoot in this quirky little town:

  • There’s a ‘matador’ postman doing mail rounds on his bike
  • A small Spanish beach – complete with sand and fake palm trees – was erected in town
  • Town hall offered Flamenco dance classes
  • The local pub ‘George and the Dragon’ is now christened ‘Jose and the Dragon’ for that Spanish flare!

“The residents are so excited to be involved,” said Philip Lewis, Mayor of El Fordwich.  “It’s great for our community and we enjoyed dreaming of our Spanish beach and flamenco dancing, bridging the gap of so many kilometres and drawing us closer together.”

On December 22nd  and January 6th the entire town will all get together to watch the televised draw at their local pub to check lottery results with their fingers crossed. Here’s hoping that dreaming big pays off for this small town!
